CARE-2024 Summer School Successfully Held

From August 22 to 25, 2024, the CARE-2024 Cloud Remote Sensing and Atmospheric Radiation Summer School was successfully held. Organized by the State Key Laboratory of Remote Sensing Science at the Aerospace Information Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the event combined in-person and virtual formats, with live streaming available via multiple platforms. The summer school brought together leading experts in remote sensing from China, Japan, Indonesia, France, and other countries, attracting a wide audience of graduate students, early-career scientists, and professionals from related industries. The event's cross-regional and interdisciplinary appeal was evident, with over 30,000 viewers across all platforms, underscoring its significant influence in the fields of remote sensing science and technology.

On the morning of August 22, the summer school opened with a keynote speech by Prof. Husi Letu, who is the initiator of the CARE program.
